OK, thanks to your email I have now gone through and systematically entered and submitted titles, descriptions, and keywords for all posts and pages on the site.

The result is very noticeable in Google searches!

I also found that I wasn’t submitting to Google’s XML-PRC service to log my blog updates properly. I have now taken care of that too.

Yes on the Google Search thingy. You have to know the right thing to do there. It’s actually very crucial. I can show you good examples and bad but I can’t show you jack diddly without an email addy so write me so I have it. I have all sorts of tricks under my hat. Well, not really – I just read a lot about do’s and don’ts when it comes to such since it is extremely important for me. aliencasebook@yahoo.com

Too bad you’re not on Blogger. Since Google owns them, Blogger links hit both Google Blog Search and regular Google Search the instant they’re published. They take care of their kind.

Also, I know what you mean about the what happens when you get a hit to the home page in Google… it takes the description text from whatever article it was last told about as being the newest… mostly useless

Yeah, I have definitely tried to lose the UFO theme… though probably to it’s actual exclusion! I will have a go at remaking the header graphic, at least, but it has to be done in a manner that will not distract from the straight appearance of how the site looks now.

Maybe I’ll try and work in the Belgian Triangle UFO pic, which is quite cool in it’s own right.
