Following on the heals of France and Britain, Demark is now releasing it’s UFO files to the public. The text below is a translation of the original. In the article, however, it mentions that that [t]he Danish Air Force has followed the example of colleagues in the United States and England. To the best of my knowledge, however, I hardly think the USAF has done any such thing… not that I’ve seen.

Denmark has, sadly, gone the same route as Britain; they claim that they don’t investigate if there is no threat. And this in itself was jumped on by Britain’s leader of the opposition party recently — Tories ‘would publish UFO files’ – BBC News. But at least the Danish government has done something.

It’s getting to be about time the governement just told us the truth about what they know. They must know how bad it looks every time they trot out the usual, tired excuses.

DANISH SECRET UFO ARCHIVE OPENED TO PUBLIC.

According to DR News (Denmarks Radio News), The Danish Air Force has follwed the example of colleagues in the United States and England, and disclosed the hitherto classified information about Danes who have seen UFOs. One such case shows that a 15 year old boy was positive he winessed extra-terrestrial beings in Funen in 1982.

SMALL MEN IN FLYING SAUCERS

It occured at 0430 AM on a summer morning in 1982. The boy was bicycling on his way to a summer job at nursery when he noticed a very bright object about 50-60 meters into a field. He got off his bike and appraoched the object, perplexed by the unusual phenomenon. The object was a classic saucer-on-saucer configuration, about 2 meters in height and 2 meters in diameter. There were no obvious surface features except what looked like a hatch on one side.

10-15 meters from the object the boy saw 5 small beings, humanoid but no taller than 60 cm and with a large head and chest and small hips and legs.

AIR FORCE DOES NOT INVESTIGATE UFOs

The case from Funen has been in a classified archive with Captain Thomas Pedersen of the Danish Air Force, but now everyone can read about that and similar cases. “We have chosen to declassify because we see no for reason ofr secrecy as such. We regularly get requests from journalists who want to read the files.

Now that we have told them that they can, the loose interest because there is no secrecy involved”, said Thomas Pedersen to DR’s Morning Show on radio station P3.

“The Danish Air Force has no interest in maintaining secrets about UFOs. OUr job is to secure Danish Air Space in peacetime, hence we have no interest in investigating UFOs”.

MANY UNSOLVED CASES

The declassified files total no less that 329 pages and span the years 1978 to 2002. Since that time SUFOI (Scandinavian UFO Information, who is very hesitant to call anything ET, ED) has taken care of UFO reports. Most cases have not been solved according to the Air Force, however when the observations are precise enough for investigation, the UFO has often been shown to be misidentified military or cicilian aircraft, weather phenomenon, bright planets or other natural phenomenon (no news there, ED).

WE DO NOT FIRE ON ALIENS

Today the Air Forces’ duty is only to help external investigations by providing information about when and where military aircract have been airborne.

Captain Thomas Pedersen denies categorigally that the Danish Air Force has ever fired on a UFO. “Personally I think that would be the dumbest course of action.

Think of Independence Day, where the ETs are far more advanced than us…if we used ourn “slingshot” guns against such superiority I’m pretty sure we would lose”, said the Captain with a laugh.
